420 stainless steel, 420 stainless steel is a 420 "cutting grade" martensitic steel, similar to the first stainless steel of Brinell high chromium steel. 420 has certain wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and its hardness is high. Hardness: Annealed, ≤223HB; quenched and tempered, ≥192HB
Difference between 420 & 430:
430 stainless steel belongs to ferritic stainless steel
430 stainless steel has oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, safety and non-toxicity, poor mechanical properties and process performance.
430 stainless steel can be deep drawn, its thermal conductivity is better than that of austenite, and its thermal expansion coefficient is smaller than that of austenite.
430 is mainly used in nitric acid and food factory equipment, fuel burner parts, household appliances, home appliance parts, gas turbine parts, etc.
