Wire rope composition: steel wire
The wire rope needs to bear the alternating load during the use of the wire rope, and its performance is mainly determined by the mechanical properties of the steel wire, the surface state of the steel wire and the structure of the steel wire rope. The steel wire material consists of carbon steel or alloy steel, which is formed by cold drawing or cold rolling. Cord core
The main function of the rope core is to support the steel wire rope to achieve a stable cross-sectional structure. The natural fiber core can store more grease, lubricate the wire rope and extend the service life of the wire rope.
Grease
The grease is sprayed during the wire rope twisting process. Its main functions are two. First, the wire rope is lubricated to reduce the abrasion of the wire surface. Second, the grease can isolate the wire surface from the oxygen in the air, causing oxidation and corrosion of the wire rope. Play a suppressing role.

Single strand

Double reins
It is made of double-strand rope around the core (steel core or fiber core) and can be made of one or more layers of steel wire. It is the most widely used wire rope variety.
Three reins
The double reins are used as a strand around the rope core, and are mainly used for thick gauge steel ropes with a diameter of 60 mm or more, such as marine wire ropes, etc.
