309 stainless steel (UNS S30900 / S30908) austenitic stainless steel tube is mainly used in high temperature environments, oil industry,pipe lines,aerospace,equippment building,high grade components etc. Its high chromium 22% to 24%, and nickel content 12% to 15%,which ensures better corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance than 304,321 etc.

C ≤ 0.20,Cr:22-24%, Ni:12-15%, Mn ≤ 2.00, P ≤ 0.045, S ≤ 0.030 ,Si ≤ 0.75

Recently we had an order with buyer from Iran for 309 DIN 1.4828 Seamless Tube,size is 114.3*2.9mm with length to be random,qty is 28 Tons.in order to keep same and good quality to be AISI309 or DIN 1.4828,rather than 309S,310 or 310S,our research dep.and engineering has to make a new smelting and getting the suitable for pipes billets,after that,we do rolling and drawing,finally we make annealing,pickling,straighting and cutting for the pipe,the order gains a very good impression from end buyer.
Now SGS who is the appointed inspection is in our mill to carry for strict inspection,.we are very confident in passing the inspection and take good talking from customer.
