Use of stainless Steel Welding Wire
Stainless steel welding wire can be divided into stainless steel solid core wire and stainless steel flux cored wire.
Stainless steel solid core wire can be inert gas shielded welding (TIG, MIG welding). It can also be used for submerged arc welding. Stainless steel MIG welding can achieve high efficiency welding and easy to realize welding automation. It is widely used in the field of surfacing and sheet bonding. The chemical composition of MIG welding wire is the same as that of TIG welding wire, but for some stainless steel varieties, there is also a kind of MIG welding wire with higher SI content, such as ER308Si, ER309Si, etc. corresponding to ER308, ER309 welding wire. Because Si is as high as 0.8%, it reduces the surface tension of molten metal, makes the droplet particles finer, and makes it easier to excessively spray. The arc became more stable. At the same time, it can also improve the wettability of the droplet metal, make the weld corrugation beautiful, not easy to produce incomplete penetration, slag inclusion, porosity and so on. The chemical composition of stainless steel cored wire for submerged arc welding is the same as that of stainless steel welding wire for gas shielded welding, but it should be used with the free medium silicon fluoride or manganese free and low silicon high fluorine smelting flux.
There are various kinds of use of stainless Steel Welding Wire: stainless steel welding wire us widely used in the field of surfacing and sheet bonding.
