Because of different manufacturing process, divided into two kinds of hot rolled and cold drawn:

1.Hot rolled:

Round  tube billet--Heating--Boring holes—Pressing--Detached--Sizing --cooling--the tube billet—

straightening--hydrostatic test—writing tags--put in storage

2.Cold drawn:

Round tube billet—Heating—Boring holes—heading—annealing—acid pickling—coating oil--

cold drawing for many times—the billet tube - heat treatment – straightening--hydrostatic test—writing tags--put in storage

3.Difference between hot rolled and cold drawn:

Compare to cold drawn and hot rolled,they are in the same production process for first three steps. The 

difference from the fourth step,Round tube billet with punching, heading, annealing. To use special acid 

pickling liquid after annealing then coating oil. And then followed by cold drawing with many time and 

formed billet tube again.Though special heat treatment,It will be straightening. Steel pipe will convey to 

the hydrostatic test or water pressure test for internal inspection. If there are cracks or air bubble in the 

internal of steel pipe, It will be detected. Steel pipe quality through rigorous selected. with painting number,

 specification, batch number, etc.,which passed on many times inspection will be put into our warehouse.
