409 stainless steel is a ferrite-oriented stainless steel.It is commonly used in mechanical, construction and other special projects. Because of the presence of austenite grains, the mechanical properties of the ability are greatly improved,like for hardness and crisp etc. Also because of the addition of a lot of minor alloying elements, the strength of hardness has also greatly improved.
409 stainless steel has also another variant of 409L,the major difference is for the Carbon containing.In most cases,otherwise it is specified,we name 409 to be same with 409L,as in our Chinese market and inside our Jawaysteel warehouse,most coils and sheets of 409 stainless steel are with Carbon less than 0.03%,
