4 inch 316 stainless steel tubing

316 stainless steel pipe is a stainless steel pipe containing molybdenum. The content of molybdenum in 316 stainless steel is slightly higher than that of 304 stainless steel. Its overall performance is better than that of 304 stainless steel. Under high temperature conditions, when the concentration of sulfuric acid is lower than 15% and higher than 85%, 316 stainless steel has a wide range of uses. 316 stainless steel also has good chloride corrosion properties, so it is usually used in marine environments.

Features of 316 stainless steel pipe:

1)Corrosion resistance: 316 stainless steel is resistant to corrosion by the ocean and corrosive industrial atmosphere

2)Heat resistance: 316 stainless steel pipe has good oxidation resistance in intermittent use below 1600 degrees and continuous use below 1700 degrees. In the range of 800-1575 degrees, it is best not to continuously act on the 316 stainless steel pipe, but when the 316 stainless steel pipe can be used continuously outside the temperature range, the stainless steel pipe has good heat resistance.

        3) Heat treatment: annealing in the temperature range of 1850-2050 degrees, then rapid annealing, and then rapid cooling. 316 stainless steel pipe cannot be hardened by heat treatment.

        4) Welding: 316 stainless steel pipe has good welding performance. All standard welding methods can be used for welding. In order to obtain the best corrosion resistance, the welded section of the 316 stainless steel pipe needs to be annealed after welding.
