What is the difference between 304L and 304H stainless steel
304, 304L and 304H are the most widely used of all the stainless steel grades material. and What is the difference between 304L and 304H stainless steel ? Is 304L Grade and 304L grade can be instead of 304 ?

Properties:
304: T.S(MIN) :515Mpa; Y.S.(MIN): 205Mpa, Y.S(50mm): 40%
304L:T.S(MIN) :485Mpa; Y.S.(MIN): 170Mpa, Y.S(50mm): 40%
304H: T.S(MIN) :515Mpa; Y.S.(MIN): 205Mpa, Y.S(50mm): 40%
304L is an ultra-low carbon stainless steel with relatively low carbon content, less than 0.03%. Generally, it is stronger than 304 in corrosion resistance. and Its tensile and yield properties are not as good as 304 and 304H
The 304H refers to high temperature and has a relatively high carbon content. When the austenitic steel in GB150 is used above 525 degrees, the carbon content is required to be no less than 0.04% .
Among the three, the highest carbon content is 304H, the lowest carbon content is 304L, and the carbon content of 304 stainless steel is between the two. The higher the carbon content, the worse the corrosion resistance of stainless steel and the easier it is to rust. Therefore, they are cannot be instead of with each other.
