304 stainless steel is a kind of common metal material. Its density is 7.93 g / cm3. 304 ss 

material has high toughness characteristics, it can resist high temperature of 800 degrees, 

so as to it’s widely used in medical industry and food industry.

304 stainless steel is also marked in 06Cr19Ni10, SUS304. In order to maintain the inherent 

corrosion resistance of stainless steel, the steel must contain more than 18% of chromium, 

more than 8% of nickel. 304 stainless steel is a grade produced in accordance with the ASTM 

standard stainless steel.

Ni and Cr are the most important element in 304 ss., but it is not limited to these two 

elements. Industry common determine that as long as Ni content is more than 8%, Cr content 

is more than 18%,  it can be called 304 stainless steel.
